The Philadelphia 76ers have issued an apology for not allowing Sevyn Streeter from singing the national anthem.
Streeter, who is black, was wearing a “We Matter” shirt, a spin on the Black Lives Matter movement.
The 76ers believe the wrong decision was made in barring Streeter from singing the anthem.
