EAST GRANBY, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut State Police say a man died when he collided with a car and was thrown from his motorcycle on state Route 20 in East Granby.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police say a car driven by 61-year-old Robert McArthur was leaving a gas station and turning left when the motorcycle hit the left side of the vehicle.

Police say 24-year-old Joseph Sandamena, of Windsor, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was hospitalized with minor injuries.



The investigation continues.
