PITTSBURGH (AP) - Authorities in western Pennsylvania have arrested a teenager and are seeking another suspect in the shooting death of a teenage girl last month in Pittsburgh.

Police and a fugitive task force arrested a 16-year-old youth at a home in the East Liberty neighborhood in the Sept. 17 homicide of 17-year-old Daija McCall. He will face homicide, robbery, conspiracy and firearms charges.

They went to another address in the Perry North neighborhood and didn’t find the second suspect there, but arrested a man on drug charges.

Police said the Carrick High School sophomore was found lying near a Homewood intersection and pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said at least 11 shots were fired, and the girl was hit while she was walking.
