BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - Fergus County officials have released the name of a 64-year-old woman who died in a crash after the vehicle she was in struck a dead deer in the road.
Acting coroner Dan Whitted tells The Billings Gazette (bit.ly/2f7S0Og) that Roxann Roe of Grass Range died at the scene of the rollover crash Sunday morning.
The Montana Highway Patrol says both Roe and a 61-year-old Grass Range man were thrown from the sport utility vehicle as it rolled.
The man was airlifted to a Billings hospital with critical injuries.
