SPRINGFIELD, Vt. (AP) - The state is requesting more information from a private ski resort seeking a permit to expand its members-only resort on Haystack Mountain.

The Brattleboro Reformer (https://bit.ly/2efnG17 ) reports that the District #2 Environmental Commission issued another recess order this month for The Hermitage Club’s Act 250 master plan permit application.

The company wants to develop more than 500 new residential units on the mountain, along with a parking garage and a 93-unit hotel.

Among the information the commission is asking for are site maps showing property boundaries between land owned by the company and land now owned by other groups.

The recess order asks for a “more detailed project description” for plans on the mountain tract. The information is expected to be submitted by Oct. 26.
