NORTHWOOD, N.H. (AP) - New Hampshire Fish and Game officials say a 14-year-old boy was seriously hurt when his all-terrain vehicle rolled over and landed on top of him.
WMUR-TV (https://bit.ly/2eAI1OF ) reports that the incident happened around noon Saturday in Northwood.
Conservation officers say the boy told them his four-wheeler rolled backward and landed on him while he attempted to climb a steep embankment on his parent’s property.
He was taken to Concord Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say he was wearing a helmet. He wasn’t immediately identified.
The incident is under investigation.
