JOHNSON, Vt. (AP) - Johnson State College is inviting military veterans in the community and their families to its annual Veterans Day dinner.
The theme of the free event on Nov. 11 is “You served us, now let us serve you.”
The dinner takes place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Stearns Dining Hall.
It includes live music, a cash bar, a ceremony to honor veterans and a talk by Johnson State College professor Bob Warren.
The event is sponsored by the college, Sodexo dining services, American Legion Post 33 and the Hyde Park VFW Post 7779.
Attendees must register for the dinner by Nov. 3 either online at events.jsc.edu/Register/JSC Veterans Day Dinner or by calling 635-1200.
