KINGWOOD, N.J. (AP) - State police say a hunter was injured when he fell 20 feet from a tree stand in Hunterdon County.
The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Saturday in Kingwood.
Emergency responders used an all-terrain vehicle to remove the man from the wooded area and he was flown to a hospital. Authorities did not disclose details on the man’s injuries or say if they were life-threatening.
The hunter’s name has not been released. It wasn’t clear Sunday if he was by himself when the accident occurred or if he had been hunting with others.
