NEWINGTON, Conn. (AP) - Police in Connecticut say an elderly Newington woman is dead and a man was seriously hurt after a head-on crash.
The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Newington. Police say 76-year-old Theresa Castagna was rushed to Hartford Hospital where she later died of her injuries.
Police say the other driver, 25-year-old Jake Ciccaglione, of Rocky Hill, was hospitalized with serious injuries.
Authorities are investigating.
