ATLANTIC BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say two people have been killed after the motorcycle they were riding on crashed into a vehicle in Atlantic Beach.
Local news agencies report that the Florida Highway Patrol says the crash happened Thursday night, killing the unidentified man and woman.
Troopers say the motorcycle was traveling on Mayport Road when it struck the passenger side of a van that was making a left turn.
FHP officials say neither person on the motorcycle was wearing a helmet.
Troopers say the van’s driver wasn’t hurt, but a passenger inside the van was taken to the hospital with injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
