CHESTERFIELD, Va. (AP) - Hundreds of people in Chesterfield County are without power due to a downed power line.

WRIC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2dCi6WJ) that Dominion says nearly 900 customers will be waking up without power Thursday morning. Officials say the damage was caused by accident that happened overnight.

WRIC reports that crews are working to repair a damaged power pole on River Road, which will remain open. It’s unclear what exactly caused the accident.



Officials say they hope to have the power restored by 7 a.m.
