LOS ANGELES (AP) - Millions of Californians plan to “drop, cover and hold on” in the annual Great California ShakeOut earthquake drill.
This year’s exercise is set for 10:20 a.m. Thursday, when participants will drop to their knees and scramble under desks and tables in response simulated major earthquake.
The public-private partnership Earthquake Country Alliance says 10.6 million people will take part.
