SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A four-alarm fire in San Francisco has injured three firefighters and displaced seven people from their homes.

KNTV-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2dqkDFh ) that the fire broke out early Thursday in the city’s Castro District and was under control in about two hours. One firefighter was taken to the hospital and the other two were treated at the scene.

San Francisco Fire spokesman John Baxter says no civilians were injured and that the three-story building where the blaze occurred was unoccupied. The displaced residents were in adjacent buildings.

Baxter says the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
