CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - A former federal prison inmate in West Virginia has been sentenced to 10 months for assaulting a nurse.
Forty-year-old Isaac Pettiford was convicted and sentenced Friday in federal court in Clarksburg.
Federal prosecutors say Pettiford was an inmate at the federal prison in Hazelton in when the assault occurred in December 2015.
