LAS VEGAS (AP) - Nevada Highway Patrol troopers have shot and wounded a man accused of trying to steal a car following a car chase the ended in Henderson.
Trooper Jason Buratczuk says the man stole a woman’s car in Las Vegas Wednesday morning, injuring her and a bystander.
Police say the man took off in her car and a trooper spotted him on U.S. 95.
He hit another car before he got off the highway in Henderson and ditched the car.
Police say he threw an approximately 90-year-old man to the ground as he stole another vehicle from a couple at a Cadillac dealership there.
Troopers say the 28-year-old was shot in the torso while he tried to drive away and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
