Chris Plante’s star as a conservative media host continues to rise.

Westwood One announced Tuesday that the CNN Pentagon correspondent-turned-radio personality will be syndicated by the broadcasting company starting Jan. 2, 2017.

According to TuneIn.com, Mr. Plante’s 9 a.m. to noon program is already heard in five additional cities outside of his home market of Washington, D.C., but the announcement means the political conservative’s 9 a.m. to noon Eastern program will be available in all Westwood One markets.

“Chris Plante takes the news of the day and breaks it down in his signature direct, funny, and fearless style,”  Westwood One President Suzanne Grimes said, according to WMAL Radio. “He engages a legion of devoted fans who tune in every day whether they agree with him or not. He’s a captivating storyteller who makes great radio. It’s the kind of programming we are proud to add to our best-in-class talk lineup.”

“Congrats to a good friend. He deserves this. Nice to know that sometimes in this business the cream really does rise,” wrote Larry O’Connor, who co-hosts the “Mornings on the Mall” morning show that leads into Mr. Plante’s program and solo anchors the 5 p.m. drive-time hour.
