RENTON, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say a car trying to avoid a collision in Renton drove onto a sidewalk and struck an 11-year-old boy.
The Renton Regional Fire Authority reports that the child suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday morning and was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
No further details were immediately released.
