SAXTONS RIVER, Vt. (AP) - Vermont State Police say no one was injured when a school bus carrying 19 students was rear-ended in Saxtons River.

Police say the bus for the Grammar School in Putney was stopped on Route 121 waiting to make a left turn just before 8 a.m. Monday when it was hit.

The driver of the vehicle that hit the bus was issued a ticket for following too closely.
