CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson is taping an interview at the University of Virginia.
The former New Mexico governor will be at the school’s Miller Center on Monday to tape an interview with “American Forum,” the center’s weekly public affairs program. The program is hosted by Pulitzer Prize-winning author and journalist Douglas Blackmon and airs weekly on more than 280 PBS stations.
The episode is being called “Is the Libertarian Party a viable alternative? A conversation with Gary Johnson.” The event is open to the public. Doors open at 3 p.m., and taping will begin at 3:30 p.m.
