LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say a firefighter has been injured battling flames at an unoccupied house in Lincoln.

The fire was reported a little before 6 a.m. Monday, about six blocks south of the Capitol.

Fire Chief Micheal Despain says the firefighter was taken to a hospital for observation and treatment of minor injuries.



A fire investigator is trying to determine what caused the blaze.
