LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - The 46th annual public auction of native bison is set to take place this week at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge near Lawton.

The Lawton Constitution (https://bit.ly/2eb7Nuc ) reports that the refuge plans to offer 66 sale animals at the auction on Thursday. The refuge is also donating 22 bison to the Inter-Tribal Bison Cooperative.

Health certificates will be provided by a veterinarian following the sale.
