ELYSBURG, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say an autopsy is planned Monday on the body of a woman found dead after a house fire in central Pennsylvania.
Officials in Northumberland County said the blaze was reported Saturday morning in a home in Ralpho Township.
Police said two people on one side of the two-family home made it out safely, but a woman was found on the other side. She was pronounced dead just before 9 a.m. Saturday.
A team of state police fire marshals went through the burned-out home to try to determine what started the blaze. Investigators said the fire appeared to have started in the kitchen.
