LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police have identified the officers involved in the fatal shooting of an armed man suspected in several robberies.

Police said Sunday that officers John Squeo, Christopher Gowens, Travis Swartz and Erik Lindberg are all on paid administrative leave pending a review of the incident.

All except for Swartz have been with the department since 2014. Swartz has been with Las Vegas police since February 2008.

Police say the officers tried to get the suspect to pull over Wednesday night because he was driving a car believed to be tied to crimes near downtown.

The suspect led police on a chase that ended in North Las Vegas, where officers confronted him.

Police say the man had a handgun and officers fatally shot him.

The suspect has not been identified.
