NEWELL, W.Va. (AP) - The state Division of Culture and History is recognizing the 80th anniversary of the Homer Laughlin China Company’s Fiesta Dinnerware.
An exhibit featuring 321 plates opens at the state Culture Center in Charleston on Tuesday. Homer Laughlin President Liz McIlvain and other company staff will attend the event.
The division will offer a limited edition plate at the opening for $15.
Newell-based Homer Laughlin is the last major dinnerware producer that still makes its products in the U.S.
