PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a man has died after the golf cart he was riding in crashed.
Authorities say the rollover crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in the area of 26th and Washington streets.
According to officers, a utility-style golf cart somehow rolled over a passenger.
The 62-year-old man was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
Police say the 42-year-old man driving it did not sustain any serious injuries.
Investigators say impairment is not believed to be a factor and the driver will not face criminal charges.
The passenger’s name was not released.
