SHELDON, Vt. (AP) - Police say a human skull found at a Vermont home could be from a 50-plus-year-old homicide that went unreported.

Police say they received information about the possibility of the remains at a home in Sheldon. They got a search warrant.

The skull will be brought to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for analysis.
