SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Twenty-three people are scheduled to take the oath of citizenship during a naturalization ceremony in the Vermont city of South Burlington.
The Wednesday ceremony at the Tuttle Middle School in South Burlington will welcome people from 13 countries as they become United States citizens.
The oath will be administered by U.S. Magistrate Judge John Conroy.
The candidates are from Albania, Bhutan, Canada, the Peoples’ Republic of China, the Dominican Republic, France, Madagascar, Philippines, Poland, Serbia, Somalia, the United Kingdom and Venezuela.
The South Burlington High School Chamber singers and the Tuttle middle school chorus will perform musical selections.
