STOUGHTON, Wis. (AP) - Police say a man suffered several cuts after he confronted another man who was vandalizing a Minnesota Vikings inflatable in his yard in the southern Wisconsin city of Stoughton.
The Stoughton Police Department says the incident happened around 7:15 p.m. Sunday when the 36-year-old victim confronted a 21-year-old man damaging the inflatable in his front yard. According to the Wisconsin State Journal (https://bit.ly/2ecaKvL ), police say they confrontation turned physical, leading to the resident being sliced multiple times by a box cutter.
The victim was taken to Stoughton Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the alleged attacker was arrested at the scene on suspicion of first-degree reckless endangerment and criminal damage to property.
Stoughton is about 14 miles southeast of Madison.
