CENTRAL CITY, Iowa (AP) - Authorities have released the names of two people killed in a collision in eastern Iowa’s Linn County.

The collision was reported around 8:25 p.m. Saturday in Central City. Authorities say a truck collided with a car at an intersection, killing the car driver and a passenger in the truck. The truck driver and a 10-year-old child in the car were hospitalized.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office identified the car driver who died as 46-year-old Ronald Heiderscheit, of Center Point, and the truck passenger as 63-year-old Craig McIntosh, of San Tan Valley, Arizona.
