HENNIKER, N.H. (AP) - Police say one person is dead and four others were hurt when four cars collided on U.S. Route 202 in Henniker, New Hampshire.

WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2ehZKfq ) one of the four cars had been involved in a police pursuit, traveling at 100 mph, before the crash Sunday evening.

Police say the driver, 59-yhear-old Kevin Morong of Keene, died at the scene.



Police say they’d called off the pursuit before the crash.

Two other drivers were taken to the hospital and the other two were treated at the scene. Police and state transportation officials say the road was closed for several hours from state Route 114 to the Hillsborough town line.
