Pedestrian struck, killed on Highway 303

BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say a 59-year-old man has died after being hit by a pickup truck when he walked onto Highway 303.

The Kitsap Sun reports (https://bit.ly/2flzbTT ) that the victim’s name is not being released pending notification of family.

The Washington State Patrol says the man stepped into a northbound lane of the highway Tuesday when he was struck.

The crash remains under investigation.
