DECATUR, Ala. (AP) - A Decatur man has been accused of hitting his wife with their vehicle during a domestic disturbance.

Al.com (https://bit.ly/2fYYj6l ) reports that 29-year-old Eric Levi Walls is facing up to 10 years in prison on a second-degree assault charge.

Detective Jodie Fuller said in a news release that a witness saw Walls strike his wife with an SUV outside their home. The victim’s condition was not immediately available.



Police haven’t released a motive for the attack. It is unclear whether Walls has an attorney.
