LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Las Vegas high school campus monitor has been arrested on charges of kidnapping and sexual acts with a student.

The 35-year-old employee was taken into custody Monday at Del Sol High School. A Clark County School District spokeswoman says he has been suspended from the school without pay pending the outcome of an investigation.

Police say they had received a report Sunday regarding allegations of inappropriate conduct between an adult male and a juvenile victim.

The suspect, who was also a coach at Del Sol, was interviewed by police and jailed for investigation of several charges, including sexual assault, kidnapping and a sex act involving a student between the ages of 16 and 17.
