LYNDONVILLE, Vt. (AP) — A high school cafeteria worker in Vermont is accused of having sex with two underage students.
Investigators say 27-year-old Valerie Gilmore had sexual contact with two Lyndon Institute students, ages 15 and 16, in August and September. Officials say she’s also charged with providing them with cigarettes and alcohol.
Officials say the incidents happened off campus and outside of school hours.
Gilmore, who’s due to appear in court in January, has been put on leave by the catering company that provides meals to the school. It was unclear if she’d hired a lawyer.
