BALTIMORE (AP) - Police in Baltimore say one person is dead and one person injured after a single vehicle crash.

Police say they were called around 3:45 a.m. Saturday to the 1200 block of Cherry Hill Road for a report of a crash. Police say investigators determined the vehicle was traveling westbound when it lost control, crossed the double yellow line and hit a poll.

Police say a 50-year-old male passenger died as a result of his injures. Police say the 53-year-old female driver sustained abdominal injuries and remains hospitalized. Police did not identify either the driver or her passenger.
