DEERFIELD, Wis. (AP) - Municipal records show the wrong-way driver who allegedly caused a crash that killed four people near Deerfield has prior drunken driving convictions.
WKOW-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2fodinN) that records from the village of Pardeeville show 32-year-old Brysen Wills from Waunakee had drunken driving convictions in Missouri in 2003 and 2004, and drug violations in Florida in 2004 and 2006.
The records are part of a background check done on Wills when he applied to sell alcohol in Pardeeville. The village clerk says Wills’ license to sell alcohol was approved after he told trustees his mistakes were in the past.
Wills was injured in Wednesday’s crash. The four people who died are: 26-year-old Katy Pasqualini of Milwaukee, 28-year-old Kimberly Radtke of Pewaukee, 26-year-old Clenton Hall of Waterloo and 23-year-old Patrick Wasielewski from Northbrook, Illinois. Another person suffered life-threatening injuries.
