LOS ANGELES (AP) - A man is in critical condition after a Los Angeles fire that revealed an illegal hash oil operation.

The Los Angeles Times reports (https://lat.ms/2eDf6b0 ) that the fire was reported at a Hollywood Hills apartment early Thursday. When firefighters arrived, they found a man with severe burns to his face, chest and arms. The victim was taken to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center.

No other injuries were reported in the blaze.



Police say they found a large quantity of marijuana and equipment to process the drug into oil in the apartment.
