LAWRENCEBURG, Ky. (AP) - Officials have named a highway in central Kentucky after a state trooper who died in the line of duty.

State police say officials have named Kentucky highway 326 in Anderson County the Trooper Eric Keith Chrisman Memorial Highway. A dedication ceremony was held Monday evening at Ninevah Christian Church in Lawrenceburg.

Chrisman, who was 23, died last June in a traffic crash while responding to a reckless driving complaint in western Kentucky.

The Lawrenceburg native had graduated from the Kentucky State Police Academy in January 2015.
