BLACK CREEK, Ga. (AP) - Daniel Defense has broken ground on a $29.5 million project that is expected to bring an estimated 75 jobs to Bryan County by the summer of 2017.
The new location will combine Daniel Defense’s existing facilities located at the Interstate Center in Black Creek and its second one in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
Marty Daniel, the president and CEO of the company, said Monday the new facility puts all of the company’s resources in one place.
Currently Daniel Defense is the number three manufacturer of firearms, firearms rail systems and accessories.
Daniel tells the Savannah Morning News (https://bit.ly/2gE3PaW) he has his eyes on becoming number one.
