AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) - A judge has ordered two dogs euthanized after they were captured on video attacking and killing another dog in Maine and leaving a woman with bite marks on her hands and a back injury.

Sharron Carey, of Winslow, testified on Monday that she thought the two pit bulls would attack her after they finished ripping apart her 10-month old Boston terrier, Fergie Rose, in August.

The state was seeking to have the two dogs put down.

Danielle Jones, one of the dogs’ owners, asked the judge to spare the dogs but the judge on Tuesday declined. Jones was also found guilty in the non-jury trial of two counts of keeping a dangerous dog and fined $500.
