Body recovered from pond in a Connecticut town

WILLINGTON, Conn. (AP) - A body has been pulled from a pond in Willington.

Connecticut State Police say the body was found Tuesday morning in Hall’s Pond.

Troopers recovered the body and the person was pronounced dead.

The person’s name was not immediately released, pending notification of their family.

No other details were released.

State Police are investigating.
