Mark Cuban, the billionaire Hillary Clinton supporter who once said he’d rather lose “every penny” than live under a Donald Trump administration, now finds himself dining with the president-elect’s senior adviser.

Entertainment website TMZ was at King Cole Bar on Tuesday when its staff managed to photograph Stephen K. Bannon and Mr. Cuban having a one-on-one meeting. The Dallas Mavericks owner and “Shark Tank” star was a vocal supporter of Mrs. Clinton’s failed presidential bid and appeared with her on the campaign trail.

“I care more about the future of my family, my children, than I do about my pocketbook,” Mr. Cuban said in an interview on NBC Sports Radio’s “The Newy Scruggs Show,” The Washington Times reported Nov. 2.

“If it means we play to empty arenas, I’m down with that,” Mr. Cuban added of his support for Mrs. Clinton.

Mr. Bannon, the former head of Breitbart News, has been demonized by pundits and op-ed writers for his support of the “alt-right” movement.

“I’m not a white nationalist, I’m a nationalist. I’m an economic nationalist,” Mr. Bannon told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview published Nov. 18.
