Donald Trump’s notice of intent includes withdrawing from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, scrapping President Obama’s toxic “green” regulations and investigating all immigration and visa abuses.

Bilateral trade deals are much more flexible, and eliminating two old regulations for every new regulation, as well as taking cyber-attacks seriously, is something the United Kingdom should copy.

We should also note a ’swamp-draining’ five-year ban on officials becoming lobbyists after they leave the administration and a lifetime ban on them lobbying for foreign governments.

This is a clear improvement on Mr. Obama’s self-serving rhetoric, his feckless foreign policies which resulted in a destabilized Levant, a refugee crisis and a jubilant, free-spending Iran.
