Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel decided to get his fans ready for the holiday weekend on Monday by retelling the “heartwarming” tale of the first Thanksgiving in a way that reflects “modern sensitivities.”

Over 47 million YouTube viewers sent traffic for the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” account skyrocketing after a group of elementary school kids roasted social justice activism and “safe space” advocates during the ABC show’s Thanksgiving “pageant.” Young actors mocked cultural appropriation, the need to pray to a “generic higher power,” obsessive dietary needs and “privilege.”

“We don’t eat turkey,” one pilgrim said after American Indians offered a family of “life partners” dinner.

“Frankly, I’m offended by the sight of it!” another pilgrim responded.

“Check your privilege, pilgrim!” an American Indian shouted back.

A “Thanksgiving miracle” — the arrival of a character called Tofurky — then calmed nerves just as the group was collectively “triggered.”

The play ended with the kids wishing the crowd “a non-Anglo-centric pan-cultural Thanksgiving and a micro-aggression-free new year.”

“You see,” said one child after eating plain Tofurky, “when we all come together to compromise, and spend all of our time trying to please everyone, we end up with a lumpy mound of brown goo.”

Fans of the show said the skit was one of the best Mr. Kimmel has done all year.

“And so the pendulum swings again,” said one YouTube viewer on Tuesday. “Took long enough.”

“The Left is ’righting’ themselves,” added another. “They know that going too far left lost them the election. Now if only they can get rid of the college professors who teach this PC drivel.”
