COLCHESTER, Vt. (AP) - Police say four St. Michael’s College students are facing assault charges after authorities say they planned to mug a South Burlington man.
WCAX-TV reports that police say the four students lured the man onto campus by promising to sell him marijuana and then threatened him instead.
Police say the man got away after drawing a gun in self-defense.
The four students are scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
It was not immediately known if they are being represented by attorneys.
