South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is set to meet with President-elect Donald Trump Thursday as Mr. Trump considers a host of candidates to fill key administration slots.
“We’re very happy that Governor Haley is coming to meet with President-elect Trump. I’m sure they’ll have a broad, wide-ranging conversation,” Trump transition official Kellyanne Conway said on “CBS This Morning.”
Ms. Haley’s name has been mentioned as a possible secretary of state for Mr. Trump, along with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton and Sen. Bob Corker.
Ms. Conway said Mr. Giuliani is “a leading contender for any number of positions.”
