Now that the 2016 presidential election is over, the pollsters and pundits continue to sift through statistics and polls in a desperate attempt to figure out where they went wrong. How did Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton? Why did the American people vote the way they did? I don’t think it’s all that difficult to understand. However, you will never have a pollster or pundit come to the conclusion I have.

First, the polls said that 76 percent of the people were looking for a change in government. Second, the American people heard through WikiLeaks that high-ranking people on the Clinton team were mocking the Catholic faith and evangelicals. Third, Americans watched the Democratic National Convention and saw a young woman, under thunderous applause, brag about being able to have her yet-to-be-born child aborted because she was not yet established in her career. Fourth, during a presidential debate, they watched and heard in horror and amazement the facial expression and remarks of Mrs. Clinton in regard to abortion, saying how even the soon-to-be-born had no rights. They witnessed Mrs. Clinton having no hesitation in saying that abortion was the right of every woman regardless of circumstance.

That is why Mrs. Clinton lost the election. Christians came out in large numbers to vote against her.

Life is a precious gift from God and God will not be mocked.
