ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - Universal Orlando Resort is building a new hotel.

The theme park company last week said it would construct a 16-story glass tower with 600 rooms for its next hotel.

When Universal’s Aventura Hotel opens in the summer of 2018, it will be the theme park resort’s sixth resort and bring the number of hotel rooms at the resort to 6,200.

The new hotel will have a rooftop bar and 13 kids’ suites.
