A special Newsweek issue declaring Hillary Clinton the 45th president is being recalled after it was prematurely shipped to retailers nationwide.

The commemorative issue, published by Newsweek partner Topix Media, boasted the title “Madame President.” A “President Trump” commemorative issue was also designed, but Topix Media only sent out the Clinton issues after it appeared likely late last week that the former secretary of state would win, the New York Post reported.

Retailers were instructed not to put the issues on sale prior to the election results, but some did anyway, the Post reported.

“Like everybody else, we got it wrong,” said Topix Media CEO Tony Romando.

“All wholesalers and retailers have been asked to return any issues they have as we need to clear room for [150,000 copies of] the President Trump issue,” Mr. Romando said. “We expect it to sell very well as there is obviously a great demand.”

The “President Trump” version is expected to hit stores next week, the Post reported.
