OPINION:
Renegade American priest Daniel Berrigan, who just passed way, was defiant, relentless and courageous.
You might say that he was the modern day Renaissance Man, as he was not only a priest but a prolific poet, a protester, a prisoner, an antiwar activist, an author, an autobiographer, an anarchist, a playwright, a rebel and even an actor.
Whether to defy an unjust war or end racial discrimination, Daniel Berrigan wanted to right the world’s wrongs. Unfortunately, he didn’t always go about it in the right way.
